When is the best time for a spring clean in the Algarve?
March to early May. The winter rain has stopped, algae growth has peaked, and temperatures are still low enough for detergents to work properly on stone and terracotta.
Will pressure washing damage my terracotta?
Not when the pressure and detergent are matched to the material. Terracotta, Santa Catarina tile and natural stone are cleaned at controlled pressure — we never blast a soft surface.
Do I need to be at the villa?
No. We work regularly with absent owners, key-holders and concierge teams, and send a full photo report on completion.
Can you clear gutters at the same time?
Yes. Gutter and downpipe clearing is included in the spring visit — it is the single most useful job to do before the last of the spring rain.
